Borknagar Mixing New Album - Norway’s Borknagar has entered Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, to start the mix of its new album with the very capable Jens Bogren — known for his work with Opeth, Katatonia, Paradise Lost and Amon Amarth.
Borknagar’s new album is tentatively due in February 2012 through Century Media Records.
“Looking back on our previous releases, our major challenge has always been to materialize our highly detailed music and compromises have been done production-wise,” says the band’s Øystein G. Brun.
“This time around there will be no compromise and hopefully you will witness the most powerful, rich, detailed and dynamic Borknagar album to date!”
